1. Privacy and Data Protection

1.1 U.S. Privacy Laws

Scalelyft by Vault Marketing LLC complies with U.S. federal and state privacy laws, including CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act) where applicable.

1.2 GDPR Compliance (EU Clients)

When serving European clients, the Agency processes personal data in accordance with GDPR principles: lawfulness, data minimization, storage limitation, and security.

1.3 Data Processing Roles

  • Client is the data controller (owns customer data, makes decisions about data use)
  • Agency is the data processor (processes data on Client's behalf)

2. CCPA Rights (California Residents)

If the Client is a California resident or business, they have the right to:

  • Know: Request what personal information the Agency collects
  • Delete: Request deletion of collected data
  • Opt-out: Opt out of data sales or sharing
  • Non-discrimination: No discrimination for exercising CCPA rights

Requests must be submitted in writing with subject line "CCPA REQUEST."

These provisions are part of the Terms of Use (articles 28 and 29), which form the complete agreement.
